Police have said that Taiwanese influencer Iris Hsieh Yu-hsin's toxicology and post-mortem examination reports are estimated to take three months to complete
Speaking to the New Straits Times, KL police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said authorities will conduct a thorough investigation into her death while waiting for the reports.
"Namewee surrendered at the Dang Wangi police headquarters at around 2am today, 5 November.
"We have since obtained a remand order until 10 November to facilitate further investigations into the murder," he said.

Fadil declined to comment on whether further arrests would be made in the case
Hsieh was found dead in the bathtub of a hotel room she was sharing with Namewee, whose real name is Wee Meng Chee, on 22 October.
It is reported that Wee was discussing a music video project with Hsieh in the hotel room. The rapper was arrested after police found nine pills believed to be ecstasy in the hotel room, and he tested positive for amphetamines, methamphetamine, ketamine, and THC.
He was later charged with drug use and possession. He is currently under a six-day remand to assist in the investigation into Hsieh's death after police identified him as a person of interest.
