Just in time for CNY, Singapore-based nail studio Neko Nail Co. has absolutely nailed it with a set of hyper-realistic bak kwa–inspired nails that honestly look… edible
Like, please don't chew your fingers edible.
Created by nail artist Xun-Lin, the press-on nails feature everything from a glossy caramelised sheen to deep reddish-brown tones and even a subtle meat-like texture.

Up close, the detailing is wild. The shine mimics freshly grilled slices, while the colour gradient looks like it came straight off a charcoal grill.
There's even that slightly uneven texture that makes bak kwa look dangerously snackable.
Speaking to SAYS, Xun-Lin shared that the press-ons cost SGD58 (RM181) and can be delivered to Malaysia.

The home-based studio is located at The Sail at Marina Bay and runs by appointment only
Beyond statement designs, Neko Nail Co. also offers classic gel manicures, basic and deluxe nail art, gel extensions, and fully customised sets for anyone who has a specific design in mind.
She's also done these incredible wagyu- and sushi-inspired nails in the past:
