A deliveryman who allegedly tricked a woman into letting him into her apartment before sexually assaulting her pleaded not guilty to two charges under the Penal Code

During proceedings at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court today, 6 March, Mohd Nor Syafrien pleaded not guilty to committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature with the 25-year-old victim at a condominium in Taman OUG, Brickfields, at 11pm on 26 February, reported Utusan Malaysia.

He also pleaded not guilty to a second charge of using criminal force to outrage the victim's modesty.

If convicted under Sections 377B and 354 of the Penal Code, he faces up to 20 years and 10 years in prison, respectively, and may also be liable to whipping under both provisions.

Nor Syafrien was not represented, while deputy public prosecutor Wafa Zainal Abidin prosecuted the case.

Judge Mazuliana Rashid set 30 March for case management.

Last Thursday, Nor Syafrien allegedly threatened to kill the victim before sexually assaulting her and forcing her to take a selfie with him

The 24-year-old woman had reportedly arranged for a delivery service to transport items from her previous residence to her new home.

When the deliveryman arrived, he allegedly claimed he needed to enter her bedroom to look for certain items.

Once inside, he reportedly pushed her onto the bed and began removing her clothes.

He then allegedly filmed the assault and forced her to perform fellatio on him before dragging her to the apartment's basement, where he assaulted her again.

Nor Syafrien was later arrested after the victim, with the help of police, lured him into meeting her again on the pretext of asking him to delete the videos of the assault.
