Penang Bird Park is doing something extra special for their 37th anniversary this 8 August, and they need your help
Are you the type of person who visits zoos and goes "aww" when you spot a cute critter staring at you from the exhibit?
Then Penang Bird Park's new "What's My Name?" campaign gives you the perfect chance to show your love for animals.
Yes, eight of the park's animal and bird residents are waiting for you to give them a forever name.

When does the campaign begin?
The name suggestion phase will run from 1 to 14 August. You can think carefully and ponder either a bold, cool name or cute, dorky one.
From 15 to 28 August, the submitted names will be shared on the park's official Instagram page for public voting.

The best part? You stand to win some cool prizes.
Each winning participant will receive two complimentary admission tickets — perfect for treating yourself and a special someone or bestie to a cute bird park date.
That's not all. Your name will be on the animal's enclosure signage along with a description of the animal's unique traits. Bragging rights for the win!
In true patriotic fashion, the final names and the winners will be announced in time for Hari Kebangsaan on 31 August.

Here are the eight animals you can cast a name for:
