A video recently went viral on TikTok showing cats digging into some fleshy durian served by their owners
TikTok user @_yernie posted a video on 3 July showing their fur babies gathering around the iconic Malaysian fruit in anticipation.
According to the post's caption, they were too impatient to wait any longer and ended up causing a cute little uproar just to eat the durian
In the video, a man reveals the large fruit from a plastic bag and lays it down before the cats to cut it open.
It piques the fluffy felines' curiosities, as they start sniffing and nibbling on the outer shell.
Finally, the golden durian flesh was revealed and the cats were in for a treat
The two cats started devouring the pieces of flesh like there was no tomorrow. Craving satisfied.
Some commenters were curious to know whether it's safe to feed cats this type of fruit
Others reassured them that as long as they're not fed too much durian, there shouldn't be any issue.
Still, it's always important to maintain a level of caution with what you feed your pets, since not every cat is the same.
