Forget hair salons, a monkey in China is now going viral for doing what looks like the most precise thistle-removal appointment ever recorded
In a video believed to have been taken in Guizhou, China, a woman is seen with her hair completely covered in tiny thistles.
The clip was shared on Douyin by a user nicknamed 'Uncle Monkey', an account already known for posting silly videos of monkeys that go viral.
Instead of struggling on her own, the woman casually walks up to a nearby monkey, and that's where things take an unexpectedly professional turn.
The monkey immediately locks in
No hesitation. No confusion. Just full focus.
It starts carefully plucking the thistles out of her hair one by one, completely unbothered and oddly efficient about it.
At one point, it even seems like the job is done
The monkey shifts away, gently nudging the woman as if to say, "next client please". But the woman keeps coming back, insisting there's still more.
And she's right.
The monkey rechecks, realises there's one stubborn thistle left, and calmly removes it like a seasoned specialist finishing a final inspection.
Honestly, if this were a salon, it would be five stars, no questions asked.
Once the job is done, the woman "pays" the monkey with a snack.
The monkey immediately collects its "payment" and runs off.
The comments section, naturally, had a field day, with users joking that the animal deserves its own salon chair
"She looks professional though," one comment simply read.
And honestly? Hard to argue with that.
