A Shell station in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, may have found its most punctual 'staff member' yet, and it doesn't even need a name tag

At around 6am, 19 April, Threads user @dato.fath stopped by a Shell station before work and noticed something unusual.

While most of us are still negotiating with our alarms at that hour, one 'employee' was already stationed on duty, fully focused and calmly observing the morning rush as if it were all part of his KPI.

"I saw [a] Shell staff already ready to serve customers," he wrote, alongside photos of a cat wearing a Shell uniform sitting very seriously on duty in front of a petrol pump.

The comments section quickly turned into a shared catalogue of similar 'employees' spotted at petrol stations around Malaysia, with users chiming in about other cats who appear to have unofficially clocked in

One recurring star was Jit Jit, an oyen (orange cat) who previously went viral for also "working" hard at another Shell station in Johor.
