A man and a woman were found stabbed to death in Alor Setar, Kedah, on 11 September, in what police are probing as a possible murder
According to Harian Metro, Yan district police chief Supt Mohd Hamizi Abdullah said police received a report of the incident at 9.40pm in Taman Nona.
He said a 30-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were found with stab wounds at the scene.
"The woman was found in a Proton Wira car in front of a house, while the man was discovered on the road in the residential area with multiple stab wounds to his body.
"We believe the stab wounds were inflicted with a sharp object," said Mohd Hamizi.

Police are currently investigating the relationship between the victims
"We are still investigating where they were heading at the time and the cause of the incident. The investigation is being conducted under Section 302 of the Penal Code (for murder).
"So far, no arrests have been made in connection with this case, and the investigation is ongoing," he said.

Meanwhile, witness Fathi Kamil Khazali recounted hearing his wife scream, "Someone's been stabbed", in front of their house
His wife said she had heard an individual calling for help, and when Fathi went outside, he saw a man collapse on the road, reported the New Straits Times.
He also saw a car leaving the scene, and upon checking a Proton Wira parked nearby, was shocked to find a woman covered in blood in the front passenger seat.
"It was just 20m from my home. She was slumped towards the driver's seat, but I couldn't see her injuries clearly as I was looking from outside, and it was raining heavily," he said.
Fathi added that he and his wife had never seen the victims before, despite having lived in the neighbourhood for the past two years.
