A woman has alleged that a male staff member at a clothing store in Kuala Lumpur secretly filmed her while she was changing in the fitting room
The incident is said to have taken place around 6.30pm on 27 July.
In a video posted on Instagram, the woman said she was trying on clothes when another female shopper outside suddenly shouted that someone had been filming them.
Alarmed, she quickly got dressed and left the fitting room to investigate.
She claimed she saw a male staff member panicking and rushing to the staff locker area, which was also witnessed by another male shopper nearby, who helped confront him, reported China Press.

He initially said he had left to "adjust his pants", then later claimed he had been "taking a selfie", according to the woman.
"The reasons he gave were completely contradictory. First he said staff aren't allowed to use their phones during work hours, and then he said he was just taking selfies in front of the fitting room. It didn't make sense," she said.
The woman said she asked the store manager to review CCTV footage, but was told the cameras were only located at the cashier counter.
Instead of reviewing any footage, the manager privately spoke to the staff member for about 20 minutes. According to the woman, it was only after she and the other customer threatened to call the police that the staff member finally admitted to filming and apologised.
Although no police report was filed, the woman said she recorded the entire encounter on her phone as a form of protection.
At the time of writing, the name of the clothing store and the shopping mall it's located in have not been made public.
