A foreigner was arrested for allegedly behaving aggressively and injuring an immigration officer during a departure check at KLIA Terminal 1
According to Harian Metro, the incident occurred at 7.40pm on Wednesday, 13 August.
The Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) said the female suspect was part of a group of four Chinese nationals — two adults and two children — undergoing immigration clearance.
Upon discovering that the group had no record of entering Malaysia, the officer on duty referred the matter to a supervisor for further verification.
When the officer asked the suspect to allow other travellers in the queue to proceed, she allegedly became agitated and verbally abused the officer.
The suspect then allegedly pulled the officer's headscarf and pushed her head against a pillar in front of the counter.
"A brief scuffle ensued, and the suspect refused to calm down despite repeated instructions. AKPS enforcement officers then called in the Aviation Security (AVSEC) team to defuse the situation," AKPS said in a statement.

The New Straits Times reported that she complained of a headache on the right side of her head and body aches, and was subsequently referred to Hospital Cyberjaya for treatment.
The case is currently being investigated under Sections 186, 332 and 353 of the Penal Code for obstructing a public servant on duty, causing hurt, and using criminal force, respectively.
AKPS urged the Home Ministry to reconsider its proposal to install CCTV cameras at all immigration counters to improve monitoring and ensure the safety of its officers.
