Lee said they have called on both the driver, who is married, and the woman to come forward to the Jasin district police headquarters to assist in investigations
He added that they have yet to establish the relationship between the two.
The case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.
Meanwhile, a passenger who identified herself only as Siva said she reported the incident out of concern for passenger safety, adding that the driver may not have realised the seriousness of his actions

Sri Maju Group has since confirmed the driver was its employee and said he has been terminated with immediate effect, adding that it is cooperating fully with authorities in the ongoing investigation
The company also said it has reported the matter to the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD), while the Road Transport Department (JPJ) has opened an investigation paper.
