Police are investigating a viral video showing an Isuzu pickup truck bearing a Hebrew sign that reportedly reads either "Malaysia is our home" or "Malaysia is in our hands"
In a statement today, 8 October, Melaka police chief Datuk Dzulkhairi Mukhtar said the vehicle is registered to a man residing in Gemencheh, Negeri Sembilan.
He said police were alerted to the incident by the Melaka chief minister's special religious officer yesterday, 7 October, after he came across a 14-second video of the vehicle online.
"The police investigation found that the writing means 'Malaysia is in our hands' or 'Malaysia is our home'," said the state police chief.

The case is currently being investigated under Section 505(b) of the Penal Code for actions likely to cause public fear or alarm
It will also be probed under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for improper use of telecommunication services.
"Melaka police advise the public not to make any speculations regarding the circulation of the video in question. [We] will conduct a transparent investigation to ensure the safety and harmony of the community are maintained," the statement read.
A photo circulating on social media also shows the vehicle with a sticker that reads "ESPN Zone Arizona" and a licence plate frame bearing the words "New York".
