PDRM Arrests Woman Linked To Acid Attack On Kelantan Spa Owner
The victim was at her salon when she was allegedly attacked by two women and a man last Saturday, 17 May.
The police have arrested a 38-year-old woman linked to an acid attack on a spa owner in Bachok, Kelantan last Saturday, 17 May
According to the New Straits Times, Kelantan police chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat said the suspect was detained near a rubber factory in Kuala Krai at 4pm yesterday, 21 May.
"The arrest was carried out by the Special Investigation Division (D9) of the Kelantan police headquarters, together with the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bachok district police headquarters, in a coordinated operation yesterday.
"The suspect works at a rubber factory and has no prior criminal record. Police also seized a Perodua Myvi, a mobile phone, and a car remote control during the arrest," said Mohd Yusoff today, 22 May.
The case is currently being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous means.

Earlier, the police said they were tracking down three suspects connected to the case
On the day of the incident, the victim, spa operator Nor Faziera Muda, 27, was at her salon with her young son when she was allegedly attacked by two women and a man at around 7.20pm.
Before the acid attack, she received a WhatsApp message from an individual believed to be the primary suspect, reported Bernama.
The motive behind the attack is still under investigation, but police have not ruled out revenge or business rivalry as possible factors.
Nor Faziera is currently receiving treatment at Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia in Kubang Kerian for burns to her right hand and legs.
Her condition is reported to be stable, according to the New Straits Times.
