A 40-year-old woman was killed after she was believed to have been attacked by her husband with a machete at their home in Gual Ipoh, Tanah Merah, Kelantan
The incident happened around 1pm today, 1 December.
She died at the scene from severe head injuries, reported Harian Metro.
A source said the 63-year-old suspect, who is the victim's husband, was arrested by police shortly after the incident.
The victim was believed to have been struck on the head with the machete, causing fatal injuries
Her body was sent to Hospital Tanah Merah for a post-mortem.
Tanah Merah district police chief Supt Mohd Haki Hasbullah confirmed the case when contacted, adding that an investigation is ongoing.
