Man Slashed In The Face During Brawl At Bukit Bintang Club

Police are on the hunt for the suspect.

A man suffered a deep slash wound to his face during a brawl outside an entertainment outlet in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, 19 August

According to China Press, the victim was seen bleeding heavily from the right side of his face while bystanders helped him to a seat as they waited for medical assistance.

Dang Wangi deputy police chief Supt Nuzulan Mohd Din confirmed the incident, saying his department received a distress call at 5.29am.

The victim is currently in stable condition.

"The investigation is ongoing, and efforts to track down the suspect are underway," Buletin TV3 quoted Nuzulan as saying.

A video showing the victim with a slash wound on his face went viral earlier this week

In the video, several individuals were seen supporting the victim as they wiped blood from his face with tissues.

Bloodstains were visible on his clothes and jeans, with additional stains and discarded tissues on the floor.

The case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon.
