The 'egg', created by luxury jewellery company Fabergé, is one of only 50 in the world

According to the Fabergé website, the green egg, called the Limited Edition Guilloché Enamel Octopussy Egg Objet, is made of 18-karat gold and set with 183 diamonds and two blue sapphires.

The egg, adorned with a James Bond 007 logo and octopus engravings, opens to reveal a golden octopus with diamond suckers and two black diamond eyes.

Worth NZD33,585 (RM79,000), the valuable item is designed to pay homage to the 1983 James Bond film, Octopussy.
