A man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a women's hostel at a condominium in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur
He is said to have molested three women and raped another during the break-in, which occurred on Sunday afternoon, 5 October.
According to China Press, the incident took place at a unit that was being used as a staff dormitory.
The suspect reportedly entered the unit alone and quickly overpowered the four women inside.
One of the victims managed to secretly use her phone to alert her supervisor, who then contacted the police
Officers arrived shortly after and arrested the man at the scene.
It is understood that after the assault, the suspect armed himself with a kitchen knife and attempted to confront the police, but was subdued.
Following his arrest, the suspect reportedly complained of chest pains and fell unconscious.
He and the victims were taken to hospital for treatment.
