The motorcycle that the late Amirul Hafiz Omar was riding during the fatal accident in Klang on Sunday, 29 March, is believed to be a gift from his wife
Netizens on Facebook found a post from three years ago in which his wife dedicated the gift to Amirul.
In the post published on 25 November 2022, Nor Nadia Abdul Majid, 32, said she had noticed her husband researching motorcycles every night before going to sleep.
"It was so obvious how much he wanted one. It's okay. Today, let your wife fulfil your dream.
"Consider this gift a reward for taking such good care of our family, carrying out your responsibilities without complaining and being so patient in putting up with my antics. May Allah shower our family with even more blessings," the post read.
One of the photos in the post shows Amirul beaming with a smile while making a finger-heart gesture on his new motorcycle.
In the comments section, many netizens offered their condolences
One netizen even offered Nor Nadia legal advice.
Meanwhile, several Facebook users offered some money to the widow and single mother of three, with one saying, "Here is a little bit of support from me. You have to stay strong, okay! Everything will be made easy for you, sis."
The accident occurred on Jalan Raya Barat at 11.40am last Sunday
A dashcam video shows a Honda City speeding dangerously while overtaking another vehicle before crashing into Amirul's motorcycle.
The impact threw the victim onto another car. He died at the scene.
