A dashcam video capturing a woman jumping out of a moving black SUV on the Sprint Expressway has gone viral
According to China Press, the footage was recorded by a witness, surnamed Luo (transliteration), near Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur around 8pm on Sunday, 17 August.
He said he saw the woman jump out of the car in the middle lane.
The impact flung her shoes off as she hit the road and rolled onto her back.
The video shows several vehicles narrowly avoiding her as she lay dazed on the highway, unable to get up immediately.
Lou said passers-by rushed to help the woman, who is believed to have avoided serious injuries
"The woman likely jumped out of the car after an argument with her relatives or friends," he said.
In a statement yesterday, 18 August, Brickfields district police chief ACP Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said no report of the incident has been lodged.
He urged those with information to lodge a report at the nearest police station, or contact the Brickfields police operations office at +603-2297 9222 or the Kuala Lumpur police hotline at +603-2115 9999.
