A dashcam video that has gone viral shows the moment a black Land Rover caused a chain collision involving five vehicles on the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) last Saturday, 18 October
The clip, lasting less than 30 seconds, starts with the dashcam car cruising steadily in the middle lane. At the 3-second mark, a black SUV — which appears to be a Range Rover Sport model — suddenly speeds into frame from the left, overtaking the dashcam vehicle.
With its right signal blinking, the Land Rover swerves aggressively across the lanes to the right. Around the 7-second mark, it moves out of the dashcam's clear view.
Just two seconds later, at the 9-second mark, a cloud of dust and debris bursts from the right lane, the first sign of impact. The Land Rover appears to have rammed into vehicles ahead, sparking a violent chain reaction.
The video then shows a black hatchback in the right lane, which is knocked out of control and swerves sharply to the left. Within seconds, a lorry approaching from behind then crashed into several vehicles that had slowed down at the scene.

Police have since arrested a 22-year-old local man who was behind the wheel of the Land Rover
He is being investigated under Section 42 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving, reported the New Straits Times.
Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Shamsudin Mamat said the crash, which occurred around 5.17pm, involved two lorries and three cars.
The suspect, who has no prior criminal record, was detained after the case was handed over from the Central Zone Highway Investigation Unit to the district's Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department.
Shamsudin reminded all motorists to obey traffic laws and warned that firm action would be taken against anyone found driving dangerously or endangering others on the road.
