Another case of school bullying has emerged in Kedah, just a day after a 13-year-old girl was tied up and bullied by two classmates in a school bathroom
This time, a Form 3 male student in Kuala Muda was reportedly assaulted in front of a trainee teacher, leaving him with internal bleeding in his left eye, bruises on his face, and symptoms of a possible concussion.
The boy's father, a 53-year-old motorcycle repair shop owner, said he rushed to the school after receiving a call from the administration, asking him to attend to his son.
He then brought his son to the hospital for treatment.

According to what the school told the father, the alleged incident happened around noon on Monday, 21 July, shortly after the student returned to class following a school-arranged eye exam.
His father claimed the boy was reading a novel alone when he was approached and disturbed by three to four classmates. Despite trying to move away multiple times, one of the students allegedly tried to snatch his book, which escalated into shoving, and eventually, a full-on assault.
"One of them kept hitting him until he lost consciousness," the father alleged.
The attack allegedly took place in the presence of a female trainee teacher, who had only started her placement at the school a month ago, reported China Press.

Doctors, who treated the student for bruising and vomiting, suspected a possible concussion
He was given an injection and told to rest, and will undergo further scans and X-rays to determine the extent of his injuries.
For now, he remains under observation for at least six hours.

The father said his son had previously complained about being bullied
The boy's younger sister, who also studies at the same school, claimed her brother has long been a target of bullying. She said the bullying began as far back as last year, with classmates even pulling down his pants.
She added that her brother is quiet and avoids conflict, which may have made him an easy target.
The boy's father said that while the school has since conveyed an offer of reconciliation from the other students' parents, he believes the matter is too serious to be swept under the rug.
He has since lodged a report at the Sungai Petani police station, reported FMT.
Kuala Muda police chief Hanyan Ramlan, while confirming the incident, said the case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code.
