A Malaysian actress and her husband have been arrested to assist in an investigation into an alleged cattle investment scam
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed to Berita Harian that the Dang Wangi district headquarters' Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) carried out the arrests.
The duo was apprehended following reports of their alleged involvement in the suspicious sale of livestock.
The police are expected to bring both suspects to court today, 9 March, to seek a remand order for further questioning.

This latest legal hurdle adds to a growing list of allegations involving the couple
This development follows reports that the pair was implicated in a fraudulent land sale resulting in a RM1.5 million loss.
They were also allegedly investigated for a scam involving honorary titles, which reportedly cost victims around RM23,000.

Before their most recent arrest, the actress from a local drama TV series was reportedly discovered by authorities at a hiding spot in a madrasah in Hulu Langat
A beauty product entrepreneur has also come forward, claiming to have lost hundreds of thousands of ringgit to the pair's alleged schemes.
The entrepreneur and a businessman were reportedly defrauded of hundreds of thousands of ringgit and RM1.5 million, respectively.
Seremban district police chief Assistant Commissioner Azahar Abdul Rahim noted that a report on these fraudulent activities was lodged on 18 December 2025.
Azahar also said the RM1.5 million land scam involved a 56-year-old businessman allegedly deceived over plots in Selangor. The couple remains in custody as the police continue to investigate the full extent of the alleged scheme.
