Light Capture Café by H.O.N, the popular café near Petaling Street, is set to close on 31 January 2026
If you've ever wandered into this airy, sunlit café with its exposed brick, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a chill industrial-rustic vibe, you know it's been more than just a place for coffee. It's been a little slice of calm in the middle of bustling Chinatown.
"Before we say goodbye, we'd love to invite you back for one last dance, one last cup, one last meal, one last moment together," the café announced in a recent Instagram post.
Opened in late 2020, Light Capture quickly became a favourite among café hoppers and Instagram lovers
It wasn't just the pretty interiors; the menu had its own cult following.
They served everything from Bangkok Dirty Coffee to burnt cheesecake, fresh juices, hearty pastas, and lattes.
Some lucky visitors even got to meet the resident pet rabbits on the ground floor.
The closure announcement has left fans and regulars surprised and nostalgic
While the Petaling Street outlet is closing, the Light Capture branch at Pavilion KL appears to remain open, with no official updates yet.
"Your support, laughter, and memories have meant the world to us. Come drop by, take a photo, share a smile… let's make these final days unforgettable," the café invited
