If you've ever ended up in Kampung Attap on a random night with no real plan, chances are Triptyk somehow became part of the story

After three years of bringing people together through music, food, drinks, and a fun vibe, the beloved KL hangout has announced that it's officially closing its doors, with one final blowout happening on New Year's Eve.
In their own words, this marks "the crossroads of a three year journey" — one that welcomed people from all backgrounds and communities under one roof. And honestly, that's exactly what Triptyk felt like.
Opened in 2022, the space quickly became one of those places that didn't try to fit into a box, and didn't need to

Set inside a weathered old shophouse in Kampung Attap, it was part bar, part event space, and a cultural playground all rolled into one.
One night you'd be there for experimental cocktails and tacos; another night you'd accidentally stay till 2am because a DJ set turned into a full-on dance floor.
They hosted everything from techno nights and DJ parties to comedy open mics, pop-ups, and community-led events.

Following the announcement, many took to the comments to share their sadness and reminisce about their memories
In a statement, the Triptyk team said they're stepping into the next chapter "with a full and heavy heart", thanking everyone who's been part of the journey and inviting the community to drop by one last time.
If you've ever laughed too loud there, danced too long, or stayed way past when you said you would, this one's for you.
