Ever dreamt about being surrounded and outnumbered by kitties? We found you your new happy place.

Tucked away in Tasik Cyberjaya, Taman Kucing Cyberjaya is a cat haven where rescued fur babies roam free and humans are welcome to come hang out to soak in the purrs and meows.

Enter this park and relax in the open, clean and breezy landscape with plenty of shade. You'll see park benches, cat houses, scratching posts, and even cute little platforms — it's giving The Cat Returns by Studio Ghibli.

Most of the cats there are strays rescued by Majlis Perbandaran Sepang (MPSepang)

The council rescues cats from Sepang (and nearby areas) and gives them a cosy home at Taman Kucing Cyberjaya to help control the stray cat population.

You'll see fluffy gingers, sleek tabbies, shy black cats, and more, all well cared for and loved at the shelter

The shelter itself is segmented into four separate rooms, each with different cats based on their health conditions.

Once quarantined cats are cleared, they'll be moved in with the rest. And yes, they even get routine grooming.

Apparently, you can also enter the shelter and play with them!

The cats aren't stuck in cages or enclosures. They're free to roam, nap, or stretch wherever they please.

And if you fall in love with one of these fluffballs (very possible), you can apply to adopt them

The adoption process is handled by the local council and will require you to bring your own cat carrier.

Do note that in adopting, you'll have to cover the cat's medical fee of RM150 for services like deworming, grooming, and more.

Not looking to adopt? You can still help these kitties out in other ways.

You're welcome to donate cat food, toys, or equipment by dropping them off at their designated donation rack.

Thinking of lending your support by cleaning up their facilities and such? The park's Facebook page confirmed that they're open for volunteers too.

Just submit your official volunteer application letter to [email protected] and CC [email protected] and [email protected] to detail your interest or have them answer your queries.
