It was on the 16th of July 2015 when [Maine Mendoza] (http://says.com/ph/fun/aldub-nation-celebrates-aldub43rdweeksary-and-it-s-trending-on-twitter) and [Alden Richards] (http://says.com/ph/showbiz/photos-look-at-alden-richards-tagaytay-restaurant) were paired to act as a loveteam in Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye as Alden and Yaya Dub respectively

They gained a huge fan base (and a lot of portmanteaus, including their very own: AlDub) ever since the show started.
Moving forward to today which is the loveteam's #ALDUB59thWeeksary, Maine just got back from her trip in the U.S. so Alden took the opportunity to ask her about her feelings for him!
Here's what he said exactly to Maine:
"*Maine, may mga bagay na dumarating sa buhay ng tao… yung magpapabago ng takbo nito; yung hindi mo inaasahan pero tinatanggap mo pati pinapahalagahan. Aalagaan habangbuhay at makakasama sa pang-habang panahon.* ***Maine, tinatanggap mo ba ako? Mahal mo ba 'ko, Maine? Mahal kita.***"

Finally, AlDub made it official!
Of course, we still do not have any idea if they're really "official" in the real world (although, their *Eat Bulaga* family kept on yelling, "*True to life na 'yan!*" and "*Dinerekta na!*" as their about-to-cry eyes and trying-not-to-cry faces gave away their real feelings), who cares?
As long as they are happy and inlove, as Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza or as AlDub, everyone's really happy for them!
