A fan recently joked that she was "breaking up" with Khairul Aming's recipes, saying she wanted nothing to do with them anymore
"We have tried. But it is what it is," she said solemnly in a mock press conference video.
In response, the popular food content creator — best known for his '30 Hari 30 Resipi' Ramadan series — shared a tongue-in-cheek video saying he needed to defend himself.
He playfully staged his own "press conference" to present his side of the story, captioned, "This is the explanation from my end".

Khairul Aming joked that the fan's decision to "break up" with his recipes came down to excuses — from being too tired to not being able to execute them — which he cheekily labelled as "commitment issues"
"I've released three recipe videos a day, and sometimes I don't even get any sleep preparing them. But what do I get in return? Nothing," he said, maintaining a mock-serious tone.
He added that he didn't want to "bring up past issues", but noted that fans had previously given other reasons, such as ingredients selling out or feeling too stressed to recreate his dishes.
"They are only three recipes a day, I'm not asking for much," he quipped.
He also included humorous clips of fans dramatising their struggles — from pretending to have meltdowns after failed attempts to showing kitchen disasters like burnt puddings and messy outcomes.

The video has since garnered nearly six million views, with many netizens amused by his witty response and sense of humour
"Hahahaha KA has a good acting career ahead!" one netizen commented.
"It's like a lecturer disappointed with students repeating a semester," another joked.
"Can't believe KA is going along with this," said a third.
