A brand-new mobile game, Reddy Panza Run, has just launched, and it was created by Youthopia, a creative technology company based in Kuala Lumpur
It's completely free to download on the Google Play Store, perfect to play on your LRT commute or during your lunch break.
The star of the show is Reddy, an adorably round red panda who will be your companion as you dash through exciting intergalactic worlds.

Youthopia chief executive officer Manu Menon revealed that his team chose the red panda as it represents his brand
"We chose a red panda as it's a skilful and acrobatic animal. Plus, it's cute. We also plan to incorporate Reddy into some of our other upcoming games," he said, adding that the game was built on the Unity engine.
The game itself is a fun, fast-paced reflex game perfect for all ages. You'll find yourself dashing through different levels, collecting coins, and dodging tricky obstacles.

The side-scrolling platformer game also challenges you with trivia questions
"We wanted to create something fun, accessible, and a little wild – and Reddy Panza Run is exactly that," said Manu.
"It's just the beginning of the experiences we plan to bring to players across the region."
While the game is designed for fun, it also has an educational side, which forms a core part of Youthopia's mission to change the way we learn.

Manu said the blend of fast action and brainy trivia was a deliberate choice to make learning more engaging
"From the start, Youthopia has focused on changing the way learning is done," Manu explained.
He added that games can be used to teach various skills to students and adults alike, as well as expose them to information in a fun way, making learning more enjoyable.
"For example, if a school or organisation wants content tailored to a specific subject, such as math or science, we can easily integrate those questions. This flexibility makes Reddy Panza Run adaptable for different learning objectives and audiences."
Reddy Panza Run can also be used as an educational app to teach students specific subjects in schools in a fun manner
Manu said his team has combined the fun of a fast-paced reflex-based game with the knowledge component in the form of trivia questions that would stump even the most knowledgeable people out there.
"The game was built with flexibility in mind, so it's easy to plug in content that matches specific goals or themes. We'd love to use our games to support digital learning and community-based programmes."
