History was made on 17 January, 2026, when a Malaysian MapleStorySEA player officially became the first-ever person to reach Level 300 in the game
Behind the historic achievement was a familiar name within the MapleStorySEA community, lqsKniGhT.
The milestone marked a new chapter not just for the player, but for the entire MapleStorySEA community that has grown alongside the game for nearly two decades.
In case you didn't know, MapleStorySEA is an online MMORPG centered on character progression and shared adventures within a fantasy world. Players engage in quest, combat, and community activities through ongoing updates and events. The game actively rewards player achievements by celebrating milestones and accomplishments through special in-game and community events.
The milestone was unfolded during a special MapleStorySEA celebration event, where players got to gather and witness the achievement in real time
Held from 11.30am to 3.30pm at ATO Gaming Café in TTDI, a live projector screening followed lqsKniGhT's final push, with more excitement being felt as he got closer and closer to the level 300 mark.
When the level finally got to 300, the whole room erupted in cheers as the milestone flashed across his screen.

lqsKniGht began his MapleStorySEA journey 18 years ago after watching his schoolmates play the game, drawn in by the game's charming 2D visuals and expressive emoticons. What started as casual curiosity soon grew into a long-term commitment to the World of Maple.
Beginning with Pink Bean World in 2019, lqsKniGhT established himself in fair, free-to-play competition by earning the highest level award and placing second in reaching the highest floor in Mulung Dojo. He carried that momentum into the Level 275 Top 10 race in 2020, finishing 7th while documenting everything on Twitch.
When Level 300 was announced, lqsKniGhT went all in, starting the race on 26 May 2021 and never missing a day. Four years and seven months later, he finally reached Level 300, much earlier than the 15 years he once expected the journey to take.
For many players, the moment symbolised years of shared memories, from late-night boss runs to friendships formed along the way
It served as a reminder that MapleStorySEA has always been about the journey players take together, not just the destination.
The milestone stands as inspiration for both returning and new players, proving that legendary feats are possible through passion and perseverance.
As the game continues to evolve through updates like the ASSEMBLE Update, the community now looks ahead to what's next.
