10.32 million units — that's how many Nintendo Switch 2 units video game lovers have bought since its launch in June this year

Nintendo revealed the numbers on its official hardware sales tracking page this week.

The video game console, launched on 5 June, has surpassed sales of the Japanese multinational video game company's worst selling console, the Wii U.

Wii U, released in 2012, struggled to attract video game lovers. In its lifetime (which lasted just four years), Nintendo only sold 13.56 million units, making it the brand's biggest failure in its recent history.
