Malaysia's beloved animated hero, Ejen Ali, has officially gone global after making his debut at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M7 World Championship in Jakarta
The appearance marks a new milestone in the ongoing collaboration between the homegrown animation franchise and MOONTON Games, the developer behind MLBB.
While Ejen Ali is deeply rooted in Malaysian storytelling, the show's themes of courage, teamwork, and friendship have resonated with young audiences across Southeast Asia, making its entry into the world of esports a natural next step.
The collaboration is part of the Cuti-Cuti MLBB Bersama Ejen Ali campaign. Timed to coincide with the school holidays and the M7 tournament, it brings a familiar local icon to MLBB's biggest global stage.
Fans attending the M7 opening ceremony in Jakarta were treated to a special surprise, as live-action Ejen Ali characters appeared as part of the celebrations.
