Rockstar Games has announced another delay for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI video game
The video game maker has pushed the release date of its fan-favourite sequel to 19 November 2026.
The game was previously postponed from a late 2025 release to early 2026.
In a post on X, Rockstar said, "These extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve."

The delay was announced the same day dozens of people protested outside Rockstar's offices in Edinburgh, Scotland, according to AFP.
Demonstrators accused the multi-billion-dollar studio of "blatant union busting" after it fired 31 people.
The protest was called by the Independent Workers' Union of Great Britain (IWGB).
Rockstar had accused the dismissed employees of violating the company's policies
They were let go for allegedly distributing and discussing confidential information in a public forum, a violation of Rockstar Games' company policies.
The IWGB rejected this claim, arguing the sacked workers were all members of a private union-linked discussion channel.
GTA VI is set to return to the Miami-like Vice City and will feature the franchise's first playable female protagonist, Lucia, in an apparent 'Bonnie-and-Clyde-style' storyline.
