For many Malaysian Manchester United fans, their first memory of the club wasn't at a stadium

It may have happened at home, late at night, gathered around a TV. A father explaining the rules, siblings arguing over goals, routines that quietly turned into tradition over the years.
Tiger Beer Malaysia's 'Roar United' campaign started from that exact place: The belief that these everyday moments are what a fandom is really made of.
Fans from all over Malaysia were invited to share how their love for Manchester United began

The response was immediate and deeply personal. Nearly 500 stories poured in, many of them about first matches watched on TV, loyalties passed down through family, or friendships formed around 90 minutes of football.
Together, these memories became the Roar United Archive, a snapshot of Malaysian fandom.
On 5 December, the campaign culminated in the ultimate Red Devils showdown

That journey came together at the Roar United finale in Kuala Lumpur, where ten finalist duos met in person. What followed felt less like a competition and more like a gathering of people who already understood each other.
Between laughter, shared references, and friendly rivalry, fans bonded over the same club that had shaped their stories.
By the end of the night, Bon Lee Ngee and Loh Shao Wei were the last ones standing

They will be given the honour of delivering the Roar United Archive to the Manchester United Museum at Old Trafford, where it will be showcased.
"We are still wrapping our heads around this, the win feels surreal. We came in with zero expectations, and now, we are about to live a dream we have carried since day one.
"Old Trafford always felt out of reach, but now it's real. Thank you, Tiger Beer, for giving us the confidence to dream bigger and bolder. We're proud to carry the passion of Malaysia's Red Devils fans all the way to the Manchester United Museum," said Bon and Loh.
Roar United was never about who could shout the loudest

It was about showing how passion travels — across families, friendships, and continents.
And soon, in the Theatre of Dreams, a piece of Malaysia's roar will live on.
