Loong Kee, a popular bak kwa chain sells Bak Kwa Mooncake just in time for this year's mid-autumn celebrations! Yes, you read that right – BAK KWA MOONCAKE!

The bak kwa mooncake is a lotus paste mooncake with a salted egg yolk centre and has THREE layers of bak kwa. You can get it for RM23 per mooncake. (It's worth every penny, trust us!)

There's also a yolkless version that has even more bak kwa. It's cheaper too, at RM22 apiece.

It's an absolutely genius combination. The saltiness of the bak kwa mixed with the sweet lotus paste is simply divine.
It doesn't stop there – the bak kwa adds another dimension of texture to the mooncake, giving it the bite it's been missing all this while.

On top of bak kwa, they also have introduced peppermint, green tea, and dragonfruit mooncakes. If you're indecisive like us, you could get all of these different flavoured mooncakes as a bunch of mini ones!
