The popular Filipino fast food chain recently announced that they will be opening up 100 outlets across Malaysia in the coming 10 years, reported The Borneo Post.
Half of that number will be outlets located in East Malaysia.
"We believe that we can appeal to the diversity as what we have seen in other countries where Jollibee has been successful, such as Vietnam, Brunei, Hong Kong, and Singapore," said Dennis Flores, Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) president and head of international business for Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

The news comes after the official inauguration of the first Jollibee outlet in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
It was reported that the outlet received long lines of over 1,000 excited customers when it first opened its doors last year at Centre Point Sabah.
With the opening of its Sabah-based outlet, it marked Malaysia as the 21st country that Jollibee operates in.
