After a short hiatus, the beloved family-run brand has moved out of their home kitchen and into a full-fledged space, bringing their iconic crispy-edged, soft-centred appam to the heart of Subang Jaya.
Started by a husband-and-wife duo, Aaron and Narmatha, this is a third-generation tribute to a grandmother's legacy. "Amachi", as she was lovingly called, began selling traditional Indian snacks like murukku and chippi back in the '70s to support her family.
Decades later, that same love for palagaram (traditional snacks) lives on through their hands.
The real star here? Their appam, of course. Whether you're team egg or team paal (or both, let's be honest), each one is made fresh to order with that golden crackly crust and fluffy, custardy middle that's pure comfort food magic.
The double-yolk egg appam is next-level runny goodness, especially with their signature coconut sambol. And the paal appam? Dreamy. Slightly sweet, drizzled with jaggery, and honestly just hits the spot.
