Rendang or laksa with no coriander? Incomplete. Chicken rice without coriander? Blasphemy.
Perhaps you disagree with me and coriander is just that annoying topping you toss aside before delving into the meal.

Whether or not you're a fan, a cafe in KL has turned the herb into more than just chicken rice garnish.
Behold… Coriander Soft Serve!

You can have it on its own for RM10, or if you're on the hungrier side, enjoy it with chicken and waffles for RM19
The soft serve also comes topped with coriander leaves for good measure.

The mastermind behind it is Soft Launch in Sri Petaling, KL – a cafe which also sells other unconventional ice cream flavours, such as Chrysanthemum and taro

Inspired by Asian flavours, Soft Launch told SAYS that it wanted to surprise its customers with new flavours, yet maintain "a feeling of closeness to our culture."
"Our cafe was named as Soft Launch cafe because we want to keep staying in the 'soft launching' process where creativity and passion doesn't stop even when the menu is completed."
It also serves a variety of other dishes like chicken waffles, pesto, and desserts such as fruit waffles and tiramisu cake
