A witness testified before the Coroner's Court that Zara Qairina Mahathir had been accused of stealing money a day before she was found unconscious at her school hostel
According to the Daily Express, hostel security guard Linah Mansoding @ Jaliha testified that she learned of the allegation from students of SMKA Tun Mustapha following the incident.
She said one of the students had complained to her a day earlier about losing RM300 and a bank card, and later she learned that Zara Qairina had been blamed for the missing items.
Linah gave her testimony on Friday, 12 September as the inquest into Zara Qairina's death continued.
