A total of four teenagers involved in two separate bullying incidents in Sungai Petani, Kedah, last month are set to be charged today, 13 August
According to the New Straits Times, Kuala Muda district police chief ACP Hanyan Ramlan said the two pairs of teenagers — each from a different case — will be charged at the Sungai Petani Magistrate's Court.
The first pair will face charges under Sections 323 and 342 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt and wrongful confinement, while the second pair will be charged under Section 323 for causing hurt.
All four students had been released on bail pending the charges.

Image via Utusan MalaysiaIn the first incident, which occurred on 14 July, a Form 1 student was found in a school toilet with her hands and legs bound by a necktie and her mouth gagged with a handkerchief
Police believe she was targeted by two classmates out of jealousy.
The 13-year-old's mother, who had gone to pick her up from school, found her after searching the compound when she failed to show up.
The victim sustained minor injuries to her hands and feet, and is reportedly traumatised. A police report was lodged by her mother.
The second incident took place on 21 July, when a Form 3 student was allegedly assaulted by two classmates in another school toilet
The 15-year-old suffered internal bleeding in his left eye, facial bruises, and symptoms of a possible concussion, as he suffered a headache and was vomiting after the incident.
His father was alerted by a teacher, who rushed the boy for treatment before lodging a police report.
