A 57-year-old man has been sentenced to three weeks in jail for publicly pleasuring himself and flicking his bodily fluids onto a woman while on an MRT train in Singapore

Cheng Choong Peng pleaded guilty on 2 July to one charge of public nuisance.

According to the Straits Times, state prosecuting officer A. Majeed Yosuff said the incident occurred on the morning of 5 February, when Cheng boarded the same train as the victim at Jurong East MRT station and positioned himself behind her.

While on the train, Cheng reportedly dwelled on his dissatisfaction with his sex life, claiming his wife often cited tiredness to avoid intimacy

Overcome by sexual frustration, he unzipped his trousers and committed an indecent act.

Afterwards, Cheng noticed some of his bodily fluid on both the floor and on his hands, and deliberately flicked it onto the woman's trousers.

The prosecutor said Cheng saw the fluid land on the woman's clothing but chose not to tell her, fearing she would report him to the police.

The woman only realised her trousers were stained after getting off the train at Outram Park MRT station

Suspecting the stains came from the man who had been standing behind her on the train, she promptly filed a police report. The prosecutor said the woman felt shocked, bewildered, insulted, and disgusted by Cheng's actions.

Police officers collected swabs from the stains on the woman's trousers and sent them to the Health Sciences Authority for forensic analysis. Cheng was later arrested on 20 May.

In Singapore, individuals convicted of public nuisance, especially when aware that their actions would cause public annoyance, may face up to three months' imprisonment, a fine of up to SGD2,000 (RM6,637), or both.
