Three highways and 15 main roads in the Klang Valley will be diverted in stages this week to make way for the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting

The intergovernmental meeting will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from Tuesday, 8 July to Friday, 11 July.

In a statement on Friday, 4 July, Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department director Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said the affected routes involve roads leading in and out of Kuala Lumpur, particularly those connecting KLIA, KLCC, and the hotels hosting the foreign delegates.

Over the weekend, a dry run involving 391 traffic officers was carried out to prepare for the event.
