After nine incredible years of live performances, community vibes, and unforgettable nights, Jao Tim has announced that it will temporarily close its doors this April for a refresh

The venue's final show before the break is set to take place on 1 April 2026, marking the end of an era… at least for now.

But don't worry, this isn't goodbye.

According to the team, the closure is all part of a plan to upgrade the space and overall experience

"We will be carrying out important updates and internal improvements at Jao Tim — tightening a few screws, refining our space, and enhancing our setup," they wrote in a recent Instagram post.

While Jao Tim takes a breather, they're not leaving fans hanging

For the entire month of April, they'll be moving their operations to APW Bangsar, where they'll continue hosting live shows and keeping the energy alive.

So if your weekends usually revolve around Jao Tim's intimate gigs and cosy vibes, you'll still have a spot to go, just in a different setting.
