Still fuming over an ex? A local non-profit organisation has found a way to turn all those bad feelings into something good — for you and for stray animals.
SPCA Selangor is bringing back their cheeky fundraising campaign, 'Neuter Your Ex'!
For just RM100, you can sponsor the neutering of a stray animal and temporarily name it after a not-so-fondly-remembered ex or anyone else you'd like make a (playful) jab at.
"It's therapeutic fun. Get closure with a laugh while helping animals in need," said SPCA Selangor.
All donations go directly to their Potong Royong project, an initiative that aims to reduce the stray population in Selangor through humane mass neutering.

To volunteer an ex's name, head to SPCA Selangor's fundraising page and make the payment
Here's how it works:
– Donate via SPCA Selangor's 'Neuter Your Ex' fundraising page.
– Submit the name you'd like the animal to carry.
– Watch for updates on SPCA Selangor's social media pages, where they'll post about the animals that have been neutered!
To make it even more fun, participants are also encouraged to submit stories about their exes, heartwarming or otherwise.
The top 10 funniest entries will be featured on the Wall of Exes on SPCA Selangor's website, with winners also receiving a small token of appreciation.
Having successfully neutered over 3,380 cats and dogs since its launch, The Potong Royong project is making a real difference
SPCA Selangor estimates that this has prevented 100,000 unwanted births, and spared countless more lives from hunger, abandonment, and disease.
"That's 100,000 lives spared — through just one sustained, focused, humane campaign," they said.

So, if you're ready to turn heartbreak into healing, sponsor a snip today!
Visit the Neuter Your Ex page to make your donation, and follow SPCA Selangor on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with all the animals (and names!) being neutered.
