These days, you'll find him spinning millennium bangers as DJ Cage, his official DJ persona.

Last weekend, the 49-year-old former Health Minister made his live debut at Sunset Jam in Heritage Valley KL.

Sharing the stage with DJ Jakeman, the sold-out show drew a crowd of music lovers who paid RM50 each to catch KJ behind the DJ booth.

"DJ Cage is all set for his debut. See you at Sunset Jam, Heritage Valley KL, 4pm today," he wrote on Instagram, three days ago.

KJ is no stranger to reinvention. Once dubbed Malaysia's most eligible political bachelor, he's now known for mic drops of a different kind with the Bekpes Hot crew on Hot FM.

"I'm living my best life; why would I want to leave this?" Khairy told reporters when asked to comment on speculation that he might return to government service under Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, as reported by Malay Mail last month.

For now, he's still on-air as a presenter with Hot FM, and co-hosts the political podcast Keluar Sekejap with Shahril Hamdan.

He's also involved in business ventures and has expressed enthusiasm for promoting Malaysian products through the podcast.
