Looks like Malaysia really said "I'm not okay" unless we get two nights of My Chemical Romance

Legendary emo rock band My Chemical Romance has officially sold out not one, but two shows in Kuala Lumpur for their Long Live The Black Parade global tour.

At first, the band was set to perform in KL for just one night only, at Bukit Jalil National Stadium on 30 April 2026.

Tickets for that show, which went on sale on 11 July, quickly sold out in just 90 minutes, leaving Malaysian fans who missed out to say a bitter "so long and goodnight" to their dreams of seeing MCR live.

But soon, salvation came in the form of an announcement of a second KL show on 1 May 2026! Tickets went on sale earlier today, 1 August, and sold out in just a few hours.

Both nights at Bukit Jalil National Stadium are now fully booked, with a massive total of 120,000 tickets sold.

This makes KL the only Southeast Asian stop of the tour to host back-to-back MCR shows

It's also the largest audience MCR has ever played to in the region, setting a new record for an international rock concert in a Southeast Asian stadium.

The back-to-back concerts will mark the first time Bukit Jalil National Stadium hosts two full-scale international concerts on consecutive nights. So, break out your eyeliner and get ready for two nights of chaos, catharsis, and screaming every word like your 2006 self depends on it.

This will also be the biggest international music event in Malaysia for 2026, tying in with the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 campaign.

Promoter Hello Universe extended their thanks to fans, partners, and media for the overwhelming support that made this historic moment happen

"We are OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT! Thank you, Malaysia. We made history together. See you in 2026!" they wrote in a post on Instagram.
