Gamer Dies After A 3-Day Gaming Marathon At An Internet Café

The man was reportedly a regular customer who often played for days.

A 32-year-old man met his end after a three-day Internet gaming binge. He had entered a Taiwanese Internet café on 6 January. On 8 January, he was found sprawled out on a table in the café, dead.

He had been unemployed for some time and frequented Internet cafés. He would often disappear for two to three days at a time.

However, it's not the first case of Internet-addiction death in Taiwan in 2015. On New Year's Day a 38-year-old man died at an Internet café in New Taipei City after 5 days of non-stop video gaming.

And earlier in 2013, a young man from Penang was found dead after after gaming for 15 hours
