Fans of the legendary racing anime Initial D can now bring a piece of Mount Akina to their workstations with a newly released wireless mouse modelled after Takumi Fujiwara's iconic Toyota AE86

Produced by Japan's Camshop, this officially licensed product from Toyota and Kodansha serves as a high-tech tribute to the "Ghost of Akina".

The mouse is designed with meticulous attention to detail, replicating the "Fujiwara Tofu Shop" branding and the car's classic monochrome aesthetic.

It's more than just a mouse

A standout feature of this peripheral is its functional lighting system; the front and rear lights illuminate when the device is powered on.

Furthermore, users can manually operate the signature pop-up headlights using a small lever located at the base of the mouse, allowing for a customisable look during use.

The device offers modern functionality with Bluetooth connectivity, ensuring it is compatible with a wide range of devices without the need for cumbersome wires

The body has been redesigned for a more ergonomic grip compared to its 2023 predecessor, measuring 10.5 x 4.3 x 3.8 cm and weighing approximately 40g. This makes it a lightweight option for those who value both style and daily usability.

The Initial D wireless mouse is priced at 7,700 yen (RM234)

Early shipments for mid-March 2026 have already sold out due to high demand, but a subsequent batch is expected to ship on 31 March.

As an added incentive for fans, each purchase includes one of three exclusive mouse mats featuring original artwork from the series.
