This 92-Year-Old Cancer Survivor Runs Marathons And Breaks Records. What’s Your Excuse?

Enter Harriette Thompson, a 92-year old lady from Charlotte, North Carolina. But Harriette isn't just any ordinary lady, she's also a cancer survivor.

Being the fighter that she is, Harriette decided to take up marathon as a challenge

Last year, Thompson ran the fastest marathon ever by a woman aged 90 or older, finishing in 7 hours and 7 minutes. She beat the old record of 9 hours, 53 minutes. It was a 26.2 (42km) marathon.

Now, at the tender age of 92, she has made her way into the book of records yet again for being the oldest lady to finish a marathon by conquering another 42km!

A classically trained pianist, she took up running in her 70s. It's never too late to start guys…
