In an interview with ABS-CBN reporters on Tuesday — moments after Escudero conceded in the vice presidential race, Evangelista expressed joy over the idea of 'quieter times' with her husband.
"I'm pretty happy kasi we have so much to do," she said. "We just got married, magho-honeymoon pa kami finally tapos magba-baby pa kami. There's so much to do so okay lang."
Heart also said that she respects Filipino voters and their decision."We just also want the best for everyone. So kung ano man iyong will ni Lord, happy kami doon," she said smilingly.
Evangelista married Escudero in February 2015 — he was engaged to Christine Flores for seven years. Their marriage was annulled in 2012. Heart, has been in a relationship with Chiz since July 2012.

"Sabi ko kasi noon na pag mag-asawa ako, sabi ko matatahimik iyong buhay ko. And then I ended up with a politician so para medyo gumulo ng slight," she shared. "So I'm looking forward to a bit more quiet life. I'm very okay."
The partial and unofficial results from the Commission on Elections, the Liberal Party's Leni Robredo leads the the vice presidential race with 13,868,116 votes as of 12:44 a.m. Wednesday.
