Meet Pipo. His only wish is to have his family picture taken.

The story started after Pipo was laughed at in school because he showed a sketch of his family instead of photograph, he started dreaming to have a photograph of his family. Maliksi Morales stars as the boy who comes up with a lot of ideas, including making up rumors to convince an old photographer, played by Lou Veloso, to take a picture of his family at a bargain price.

**The film has won awards from the different parts of the globe** like the U.S., Colombia, India, Malta, Portugal, Taiwan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mexico, Germany, United Arab Emirates, and another Greek film festival in Athens

Legaspi was a film directing fellow at the Asian Film Academy in Busan, South Korea and a graduate of [Ricky Lee's 14th Film Scriptwriting Workshop] (http://says.com/ph/news/ricky-lee-will-start-another-free-scriptwriting-workshop-after-14-years). **His works are more focused on raising consciousness and creating space for dialogue on communal issues, responsible transformation of society and creative activation through contemporary art**.
Legaspi is a two-time Gawad CCP winner, a Palanca awardee for his screenplay Primera Bella, and a UNESCO Laureate and resident artist of Italy's Università delle Idee (UNIDEE) and Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto and winner of Illy's Art for Social Change Prize.

The open-air film festival, [IndieCrete] (https://www.facebook.com/Indiecretefilmfestival/), is the first of its kind to be held at the largest island in Greece. The competitive event aims to bring audiences in Crete closer to the best international productions and promote the art of filmmaking.
**The organizing committee received 1,300 entries worldwide**, with 35 eventually being selected as finalists. "Pipo" will compete with other films from Greece, Spain, Denmark, Australia, Sweden, Russia, Germany, Armenia, China, Switzerland, Canada, Cyprus, France, Kosovo, Iran, Czech Republic, Ireland, Mexico and the United Kingdom under the categories Drama, Comedy, Films for Social Rights, Science Fiction, and Films Directed by Women.
Comprising this year's jury are actress **Themis Bazaka**, Greek Film Centre general manager and director **Gregory Karantinakis**, and actor-director **Kostas Nikolopoulos**. Parallel events and workshops with American actor Igor Korosets, Karantinakis and Nikolopoulos will be held along with the film screenings. Director Konstantina Palli serves as IndieCrete's Artistic Festival Manager.
